Um, yeah, you're looking at $70 for a MegaCart or $50 for a modchip. There are well over a dozen SCD games that I personally enjoy, but considering folks here probably don't like RPGs, I could easily see why some folks can count their favored SCD games on one hand. I'm not sure why you wouldn't be interested in getting the best version of Sonic R and a home port of Sonic the Fighters but if you really don't want them or the BK ports, go ahead and get the MCD Sonic CD with the arguably superior soundtrack (although the US version uses the JP past tunes so you already have almost 1/3 the soundtrack there). But if you really want the JP soundtrack, this is certainly the cheapest option. While the PS2 disc is large enough to store both soundtracks and let you choose based on the system language (English and Japanese are both available in JP PS2s but only the former is for US PS2s), the GC couldn't fit both so each region's version only has its respective soundtrack. Yes, although it's more a limitation than anything else. JP Gamecube version has the JP soundtrack? Even when booted on a US Cube via freelaoder?
